COX Junior and a sister, Mrs. WILLIAM WARDLAW THOMPSON of Virginia Beach and 5 grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 3:30 pm Monday, October 17, 1983 in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev CHARLES M. RIDDLE III. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts, Laskin Road, has charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Virginia Beach Rescue Squad.

KEECH of Norfolk and Mrs. JESSE JONES of Royal, NC and 2 brothers, WALTER HUNNINGS of Norfolk and LUTHER HUNNINGS of Franklin. The body will be taken from the Graham Funeral Home in Washington, NC for funeral services and burial Wednesday afternoon, January 28, 1953.

Mrs. Hurdle was a member of the Fidilis Social and Savings Club and Brighton Light Chapter No. 118 Order of the Eastern Star. She was the widow of Robert E. Hurdle.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Anne Peguese of Philadelphia, Pa., and Phyllis W. Bolden of Portsmouth; a sister, Valverta Virginia Smith of Portsmouth; six grandchildren, Anthony W. VIRGINIA BEACH -- Edna Mae Hutchins, of Virginia Beach, died May 30, 1998, in Virginia Beach General Hospital. She was born Dec. 14, 1905, in Evans Mills, N.Y., the daughter of the late Clarence and Sara Ward. She was a 1927 graduate of the House of the Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Watertown, N.Y., and had been on the nursing staff at both Virginia Beach General Hospital and Lynn Shores Manor until her retirement. She was a member of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Hutchins. She is survived by three sons, Erwin Hutchins and his wife, Connie, of Virginia Beach, Ward Hutchins and his wife, Gayle, of Lockport, N.Y., James Hutchins and his wife, Nancy, of Provo, Utah; her daughter, Ethel Hanson and her husband, Floyd, of Chicago; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hutchins donated her body to Eastern Virginia Medical School for the advancement of medical science. A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church, 19th Street and Pacific Avenue. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Resident Council Fund, at Bay Pointe Medical Center, where she was a patient, 1148 First Colonial Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, provided information.
