Born in Elizabeth City, N.C., she was a member of New Hope United Church of Christ, Norfolk, the Nurses Board and Usher Board. Survivors include her husband, Willis E. Williams; three daughters, Barbara Skinner and Rhonda Harris, both of Norfolk, and Letha Mae Tyson of North Carolina; a sister, Marilyn Carrington of Norfolk; 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sons-in-law, James Harris of Norfolk and Willie Tyson of North Carolina; and a host of other relatives and friends.
