Fredericksburg, December 28 - Age 67 and his wife, Mrs. MARY F. WRIGHT, age 60, died within a few hours of each other Monday, December 28, 1953. He died in his sleep at his home at Post Oak, near here. When his wife discovered his death, she ran next door to a neighbor's to inform them and then returned home. She collapsed at her home and was taken to a hospital here, where she died. He had been in ill health for about a year, but she apparently was in good health, neighbors said. Funeral services will be conducted for the couple Wednesday, December 30, 1953 at 2:30 pm at Waller's Baptist Church, near Partlow. Burial will be in the church cemetery. They are survived by 8 children, Mrs. ALICE W. PEYTON of Partlow, Mrs. EDNA POWELL and Mrs. RUTH SEAY of Richmond, CHARLES E. WRIGHT of Norfolk, JAMES E.
